A Partnership With The Divine
The only truth we need to realise is Oneness
The only truth we can be sure of in this world of ours is that there is Oneness. Hard to believe at the moment isn’t it? As we witness civilisations unfolding and separating at an alarming speed in the world, we wonder if there will ever be a resolution. We face a dichotomy in terms of coming together, as we witness the separation between the various faiths we have adopted on this planet. What was meant to unite us, has divided us. We fail to see the golden thread of connection that flows through all creeds and all people. We ignore the fact that religions are merely theological concepts - some of which were based upon a spiritual (often described as a ‘religious’) experience by those instigators of a Holy message that has been manipulated over time by others in an attempt to control populations.
Embarking on an inner journey of discovery could be our only way out of the dilemma we are all being faced with.
We fail to recognise our collectiveness, community and our inseparable connection to each other and the fact that we are all sovereign in our own right and that is where our power lies.
For some this can mean religion. However, this is a dichotomy in terms of coming together, as we witness the separation between the various faiths we have adopted on this planet. What was meant to unite us, has divided us. We fail to see the golden thread of connection that flows through all creeds and all people. We ignore the fact that religions are merely theological concepts - some of which were based upon a spiritual (often described as a religious) experience, by those instigators of a Holy message which have been manipulated over time, by withholding absolution through fear of “not being good enough.”
Much of the trouble we see in our world now stems from having ‘firm religious beliefs’ being challenged by others who oppose them.
Whilst many are still ‘searching for a saviour’ this often involves looking outside of themselves to resolve their problems, which can result in alcohol/drug abuse, unhealthy relationships and crime. However, many are now becoming more aware in terms of their feelings, insights and personal inner guidance and this is surely a breakthrough for us as we discover our own truth and gradually become more aware of that inner voice which speaks to us in times of trouble and uncertainty.
Many people have had personal inner transformative encounters which have guided them and however we refer to those experiences we should begin to recognise them as coming from that part of us that we could be relying upon more frequently. It is our inner guidance that stems from that higher aspect of self, which is our ultimate guide and companion, as we now seek to tread lightly on this planet we occupy.
There are many ways of awakening available to us in our world. A religious experience is a specific, subjective event framed within the doctrines, rituals, and traditions of an organised faith. A spiritual experience is a broader, personal quest for meaning, connection, or transcendence that may not rely on institutional structures, dogma, or a traditional concept of God. Neither one is better than the other because they both stem from our innate Divine Consciousness which is part of us. We are all connected at a soul level but we all have individual choice.
Do not be misled by the subtitle for this blog - “This is our last straw to grab hold of in these troubled times.” This idiom is designed to bring awareness to the importance of embracing this opportunity to discover who we really are, because the world and its inhabitants are now all facing the dichotomy of remaining asleep or awakening to the concept that Oneness is the God expression that encompasses all and that involves going into our WORLD WITHIN to find the answers.
