In the Northern hemisphere we have just changed time and set ourselves back an hour, so instead of it carrying on being one minute past midnight we have gone back to 11 p.m. the day before and gained an hour! Whoever said time was set in stone didn’t have a clue - or did they?

Time is neither set or not set, time is neither here nor there, time is endless, time does not exist!

Time and clocks that mark it are the creation of humans who invented them to enable us to build a structure around ourselves and thus became one of the first constructs we invented to enable us to control ourselves and others.

Controls are not all bad, but they do provide us with a model for manipulation and judgement (you must be somewhere by a certain time - if not, you will be judged by others as being late.)

Some would argue that clocks and time are a key requisite for a disciplined and productive life and there is no doubt that we would see great life changes if we all suddenly decided to stop our clocks and watches.

Our ancient ancestors knew little of sophisticated time marking applications or instruments, but instead awoke with the light of the sun and slept as it disappeared again below the horizon. They revered the movements of the stars and planets across the skies and acknowledged and worshipped them as phenomena that seemed greater than themselves.

But humankind has progressed and although this progression has allowed us to move forward in spiritual, mental, physical and material development of our species and our environment we have allowed this prime concept of time and its management of us to become a double edged sword.

Today we see our lives as real, in terms of what and who we are and we live through our thoughts and senses and allow ourselves to be governed by the clock.

In our modern world ‘time is of the essence’; it can cause death, loss and upheaval, disrupt commerce and make or break alliances, contracts and friendships. It can cause disagreements, quarrels and even contribute to wars.

However, these are just vehicles we have constructed through our consciousness which we have manifested into our lives to see what we make of things; to see how we manage ourselves and each other. Nothing in the world of form is real - the only reality is Source from which we and all our creations come from.

We think we have mastered time and beat ourselves up when we think we have failed to meet deadlines with too much left to do at the end of our day. We have allowed time to master us, instead of using our inbuilt sense of time management.

There is no time, but there is Source.

Time itself, of course, is nothing and I mean no ‘thing’. Because time does not exist as it is only a concept in the human mind and endeavour.

Time, like physical life, is a framework we have constructed for ourselves in order to express our true nature of Divinity. If there has ever been a period within our many lives for us to be able to acknowledge this and live from that centre of Divinity that ‘time’ is now; when humankind has been given the great opportunity of discovering and embracing their true nature!

So what is this in-built sense of time management? It is not what you think it is. It is not what you think. It does not involve thinking! It only involves Being. Being who you truly are in the moment, recognising your power is within and going into that space where your power lies.

TIME is NO-THING but what we do within that moment of NOW (that instant) which is the only thing we have, has never been so vital or important as it is NOW - which is the only true moment of ‘time’. This is where our power lies, not in the past, nor in the future but in the NOW.

That is where we have a choice of the instant, to be or not to be (the true nature of who we truly are).

Look to your WORLD WITHIN to discover your true nature of divinity. When you have found it, go into the moment of NOW as the Divine being that you are. Feel it, know it and create your life with it. Then you will have discovered the irrelevance of time and the importance of the moment of NOW.
