So Many Problems but only One Solution
Creating a double edged sword and other problems.
Problems come and problems go and in between we are always searching for solutions to them - such is the way of life!
Sometimes challenges are not as simple as we first see them - in as much as they can grow and evolve. It is almost like spotting a weed in your garden and thinking the answer is just to take a quick pull at it and out it will come, only to discover that there is a lot more beneath the surface than meets the eye! It has roots which go deep and may have entwined with others.
At other times the person, thing or circumstance that you thought would solve your problem turns out to be the catalyst for more disruption and chaos? In effect your “so called solution” turns into an extension of your problem and becomes another challenge (because to right one thing, causes another.) That is the double edged sword for you! When this happens be careful how you wield it, otherwise you may open yourself up to a myriad of circumstances that can bring about even more confusion in your life.
In our world of form we label everything and identify each problem set before us as being different; with each requiring a specific solution. However, whatever we are dealing with, big or small, the approach is identical because the root cause is the same - that we believe ourselves to be separate from God. The ego has taken root within us and whereas it was useful in alerting us to our fight or flight mode, when the sabre tooth tiger was on the prowl, we have grown and evolved to such an extent that we should now be aware of our Christ hood state and recognise that we are all the same at the root of ourselves. This knowledge allows us to recognise our connection to the oneness of all.
We must not become frustrated as we seek the individual answers to our problems but instead recognise that they have arisen as a result of our thinking and in accordance with the spiritual plan of unfoldment and enlightenment that we have set ourselves - the blueprint of which lies within us.
It is tempting to just do a quick bit of gardening to make the surface look tidy, but we all know this is not the long term answer to our spiritual horticultural management. We are in such times now that the real heavy lifting of the soil must be done, we must dig deep, uncover all the roots and remove them. As gardeners of our lives it is time for us to put our big boots on and get down to it - if we don’t, we will eventually be overcome by the weeds we have allowed to grow. So who is our “gardening go-to” guru?
Why of course it will be our WORLD WITHIN where we can access our inner power and sit with Source where we will find the stillness and space in which to receive the answer to our problem. We must remain open to what we receive as it may not be the quick reply we are looking for, but may be a new direction we are being pointed towards or we may be set upon a path of new perspectives which will allow us to discover new spiritual muscles to exercise and give us a new direction in which to move.
In her book “You Can Heal Your Life” author Louise L. Hay gave us some powerful affirmations to set us on our path of healing when she offered us the statement “I am willing to change the pattern of my consciousness that has created this condition.” In her book "Heal Your Body" she talks about the mental causes for physical illness and the metaphysical way to overcome them.
Knowing who we really are enables us to recognise that all problems are manifesting through our consciousness, which is why it is so important for us to really understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience in a world of form.
We may need to seek the answer as to why we have attracted this situation into our life and once we have done that we will then have opened ourselves up further to the solution.
It is a step by step process and we should avoid our modern mindset of the expectation of a quick fix. Some of our weeds have been in the ground for many years and like Japanese knotweed, may take a while to remove; while others will just come up with a tug. Either way, if we link into our WORLD WITHIN gardener and draw strength, energy and direction from our Source, we will be well on our way to resolving our problems, whatever they are.
