The Christmas Visitor

As we shop, wrap and place our gifts underneath the tree at this special time of year and come together as family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus, let’s not forget the message of this time of celebration.

Let us hold one wish for this occasion and that is, for the original teachings of Jesus to be celebrated in their truth, free from the manipulation and distortion that has been placed upon them. This has been done by those who have changed and diluted them, in order that they can be used as weapons of control and manipulation e.g. if you don’t follow the doctrine you will end up in Hell. Instead, let us consider that they were given to humanity in order that we could understand who we were in essence - hence Jesus said “these things that I do, you can do also.”

When he said “I am the light and the way” he was referring to the I Am Presence, which is in all of us. That aspect of God consciousness through which we are created and are also able to create, is part of our being, because we are made in the light and essence of God. By understanding and embracing this we will truly be following Jesus’s teachings.

We refer to those first visitors as the three wise men, because of their understanding of the nature of Jesus; which is why they followed their Divine direction, as symbolised by the star. They recognised the importance of this child incarnating on earth and in acknowledgement of who he was, they gave Jesus the highest accolade they could in terms of the revered and treasured gifts they brought to him of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The Jesus story is very much alive in our thinking at this particular time of the year, when we celebrate his birth. However, we must not forget that there have also been other enlightened beings who have also incarnated over the many centuries, around which other religions and spiritual teachings have been built.

God has ensured that every human being who has ever incarnated here on earth would be catered for in terms of knowledge, understanding and acceptance of the Divine Expression which permeates throughout all the spiritual knowledge and practices that have arisen in our world. They all have their being and becoming in terms of recognising who we really are - an aspect of the One God - that serves all without exception and can be accessed by going to your WORLD WITHIN.
