War and Peace - Part 1
We are all creators of wars - both within and without.

We are all creators of wars - both within and without.
I am fighting on the front line of the fiercest battle anyone will fight and that is the fight for control of my thoughts, my feelings and my actions. It is a battle everyone will be involved in at sometime during their lifetimes and the world will not find peace until we find that element within ourselves. Peace will only emerge once we have faced our demons, healed ourselves and fought the good fight for control over our own consciousness which creates our lives.
If we continue to create from the ego mind (which has governed our thinking for centuries) rather than transcending into our Divinity consciousness (which is where we will find our peace) we will continue to experience problems of lack and fear.
As we witness the world at each others’ throats, wars breaking out and governments struggling to manage their affairs, we point the finger and judge but fail to see that as we point the finger towards another we have four more fingers pointing back at ourself. We really are all in this together and we are all responsible for the state the world is in because of our ego thinking.
The consciousness that flows from Source through us is energy which is neither negative or positive, unless we care to place upon it the workings and meanderings of our individual or collective mind.
William Shakespeare put it so well when in Hamlet Act II, Scene 2 when he said “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so”
Conflicts of the mind have arisen through our inaccurate sense of self. We have allowed our ego to take us over, which has led us to compare, judge, pick a side, fear and ultimately fight for our own corner. This personal mind set is a result of our separation from God our Source. Until we grasp this truth we will be unable to create and embrace peace within ourselves and in our world.
God has not forgotten us or let us down, but we have been given free will to do as we want. Free will on its own can be a recipe for disaster and annihilation, but our free will comes with consequences that arise out of the natural law of cause and effect. Over many centuries, these natural laws have built up the karma of our world, our nations and ourselves. The natural law of free will keeps its word and will allow humanity to continue to use this law until it ultimately saves or destroys itself.
We are all well on our way to achieving this latter victory…………….
Before you can attempt to clear away the rubbish that has been hoarded up in a dark room which has not seen the light of day for a long time, you need to illuminate it so that you can identify what needs to be cleared. Our world is much like that at the moment and because many souls over a great period of time have been connecting to the Divine nature that lies within them, and asking for help to be sent to this planet of ours, we have been given the light that is necessary for us to see what is wrong and what needs removing, healing and re-building. Which is why we are seeing so much destruction and negativity now.
We need to be brave when we shine the light into the darkness because it will inevitably mean we see things that we do not like; but we have to see and experience these unpalatable things so that we can make the decision to transform them. However, it seems that the more we hope for peace, equality and reciprocity the more we see the opposite, because by drawing in the light we have allowed ourselves to really see the truth of what is going on in the darkness.
We see through the promises of Governments now (including our own) that have revealed themselves as being self-serving, neglectful of monitoring institutions and organisations as well as misleading in their promises, whilst purporting to serve all of society.
There are arguments that we must take up arms to defend ourselves and to defend the rights of others who are unable to fight for themselves. This is a strategy we have been forced by circumstances to take up, but it need not be like this. We have allowed duality to foster and to take charge of us over centuries and come to a place in time now when our differences, created by our ego mind, have brought about our warring world. There is almost nowhere else to go, as disagreements foster everywhere and men and women take up arms throughout the world. Armageddon is surely upon us!
Sir George Trevelyan (1906-1996) was an educational pioneer, visionary and founding father of the New Age movement and was determined to teach enlightenment in what he saw as a world of chaos and once said “our problems are now soul sized!” How right he was…….
The troubles and wars that we see erupting in our physical world today are indeed the results of our wrong thinking about ourselves and our relationship with others and it is essential now that we return to the soul aspect of ourselves to find our answers to the problems we are facing individually and collectively.
On the world stage we have ongoing battles between ethnic groups and countries and leaders vying for position and control. Things have never been so bad! However, opportunities and the will to turn things around have never been so wanted in the psyche of humanity and the wonderful thing about this point in time is that we all have the power to get our act together! We all have a chance to bring peace to our world, but first we have to bring peace to ourselves.
When things get so tough in the fight and innocents and heroes use their last breath of pleading to those higher realms for help, Source hears their call and allows more valiant souls to enter into the world of tumultuous form to inspire, help and assist us. There are even angels in hell who have braved the fire and are gradually turning things around, as compassion is extended to those who have gone against the natural law of One.
The still small voice is very strong and is gaining power within each one of us as we listen to the stirrings of our soul. Our inner selves are growing stronger as we tackle the problems that we are facing in this world. We are going within and finding our strength to conquer those challenges that life throws up at us. We all have our inner battles - everyone faces their own Armageddon tackling long standing emotional or psychological problems of fear based poverty thinking or issues of self esteem.
Awakening is a major step to enlightenment and the issues that arise within our personal lives really are a stepping stone to us contributing to peace in the world rather than stirring up further turmoil.
So why don’t you start your journey to peace in this lifetime? It will not happen without you! You need to engage with it, own it and live your life with it. If you do nothing else in this world, living with peace within yourself will mean your life has truly been worth living...............to be continued
