Watch The Skies and Wonder
As we all find our way back to the sunshine of our lives.
When we see and experience things on a regular basis we can become blasé and take them for granted. But when we witness rare events, it makes us stop and think.
Such was yesterday when many thousands of people in the northern hemisphere were given the rare opportunity to witness the eclipse of the sun when it was temporarily obscured by the moon.
For many it was an emotional event which must surely have led them to a magical place of wonder. Others may have been triggered further into the realm of a spiritual experience as they recognised the wonders of the world we live in.
Because of our understanding of the world (which has arisen out of science and technology) we were able to witness this rare event in all its beauty and magnificence; with an underlying knowledge of the science of its happening. However we choose to view it, we must surely be touched by this anomaly, which served to bring many hundreds (if not thousands) of people together to witness one of our planet’s wonders.
These rare experiences carry great opportunities for humans to watch the skies and consider……
Are we really alone in the cosmos? What else is out there? What are the heavens trying to tell us?
If nothing else, it causes many to focus on a natural happening and provides a rare chance for many people to come together to witness a shared moment in their history. A moment when everyone has the opportunity to look to the skies and ponder if there really is ‘something far greater than themselves’.
This provides a wonderful opportunity for us all to begin the search around who we really are, discover where we have come from and consider where we are going to?
Our world at the moment almost seems to dictate that we are “going to hell in a hand-cart!” but once we go to our WORLD WITHIN we can find the real answers……
Now that our outer world has triggered our inner world, why not take up this opportunity to embark upon that search of who we really are and what is our world all about anyway?
On our planet today we are witnessing the darker side of humanity being expressed in some places. However, much like our witness of the light of the sun being temporarily obscured by the darkness of the moon, we must have the faith that the light will return to us - because it is the cyclical nature of things.
We must never give up because the darkness is only temporary and the light of our own inner sun (expressed as our higher consciousness) is always there and will reappear once again.
So even during the temporary darkness of our lives and times, we must know with sureness that the light will return. We need to concentrate on this aspect. As intently as we peered through those glasses and witnessed the light of the sun temporarily being obscured by the darkness, let us see it as the temporary lack of spiritual insight, rather than the darkness of constant negativity.
Now is the time for us all to put on our searchlight glasses of the soul and start to see things differently……and discover our way back to the sunshine of life!
