Ways To Awaken
Embrace your problems now - they could be your saving grace!
There are so many things that come into our lives to awaken us and when they do we call them accidents, illness, relationship break-ups and bankruptcies. They halt us in our tracks, freeze our thinking and yet demand a response. These things have not come to harm us but to grab our attention and to help us grow and evolve as spiritual beings.
Through these unexpected events and the ensuing circumstances in our lives we are being presented with a chance to awaken. Awaken to what, you may ask?
Awaken to the realisation that we are an expression of the God force of energy consciousness and as that very nature we are as our maker - creators. We have all been created by the Divine and as we are sparks of that pure essence we are made in the likeness of the Divine consciousness.
Once we realise this, we can then begin to harness our own consciousness by becoming more aware of our thoughts, halting negative ones in their tracks and choosing instead to focus on positive ones.
We are now at a designated period in history when we are being given the knowledge of the consciousness we must start to own so that we can begin to realise our true magnificence as creators.
For aeons of time we have been living from our mind which has been hijacked by the ego. This served us well in our infancy on the planet but we have grown and evolved now and are being offered the chance to move beyond the mind and emotional body we have been embracing.
Our planet is in the process of evolving too as it turns on the spiral of life and moves into a higher vibration of expression. As this process unfolds we are being given the opportunity to embrace another way of living which will allow us to express ourselves on a higher level of being. What does this mean for us then?
Most of our exploration has been carried out with an external approach to our world but more recently our interest has been sparked by inner explorations of the psyche and mind.
For countless centuries we have been growing and evolving on a physical, mental and emotional level, which has allowed us to develop and express those aspects of ourselves. However, there are more levels of our being that are waiting to be discovered. As we move up the spiral of life, we will be able to express ourselves again through a different vibratory experience.
We are not just a physical, mental and emotional being. We are sons and daughters of God and are made in his likeness, which is pure Divine consciousness. By recognising and embracing that gift of consciousness we can begin to create the world we want.
At the moment we are allowing “the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune to shape our lives” in other words we want, we hope but we do not create - instead we just leave it to chance and when we don’t receive what we want we put it down to bad luck or think we didn’t really deserve it anyway.
William Shakespeare knew a lot about this - remember the famous quote in his play? Uttered by Hamlet to his friend Horatio….”There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.”* A clear observation about how one's mind shapes reality.
Terrible things happen to good people but joining in with the angst around such bulletins can only increase the energy. The best thing we can do when we hear such news is to spend a moment or two resting in the peace of positivity. This is not to abandon the issue of others’ misfortunes but instead enables us to approach the situation from a higher aspect of self. Although we may not see the actual outcomes of streamed catastrophes we can at least send positive energy towards those involved.
Energy is real and it can travel around the world in a nano-second. We can dedicate a few minutes every day sending out positive energy with the caveat that those who need it will feel it and draw it to their self. This really is a very good practice to adopt and remember it follows the Divine Law of sending out the energy you wish to receive yourself.
